Logging in to GoToConnect Web (formerly My Jive)
To access GoToConnect Web for using your computer, laptop, or Chromebook as a softphone (requires a microphone and speakers, or use of a headset), go to http://my.jive.com/. Within GoToConnect, you can also manage voicemails as well as some account and phone settings.
The first time you attempt to sign into GoToConnect Web, you will need to enter your ESC18 email address and click the Next button. On the page prompting for your password, click the Forgot password? link which will send an email to you containing a link to reset your password. Click the link in the email and enter your desired password. You should then be signed into GoToConnect Web automatically.
(The password for GoToConnect is independent of other passwords and will not affect your signing into your computer, mail, or other systems.)

To use the Sign in with Google option (mentioned below) you must first connect your Google account to GoToConnect. After you are successfully signed into GoToConnet Web, click on your profile image in the upper-left corner of the web app and choose Edit Profile. In the new tab which opens, click on Sign In & Security at the top of the page.
Click "Connect to Google" under Other ways to sign in.
You can now logout of GoToConnect Web by clicking your profile image and and try logging in with your Google account to confirm it was successfully connected to GoToConnect..
Enter your ESC18 email address and click Next, then click 
on the next screen.
You will then enter your ESC18 email address and password again, and be prompted for your 2-factor authentication method.
Once logged in, you will first be prompted to accept their Terms of Service. Just click on 
. You'll then see the "connecting" animation as Jive gets things ready for you.
GoToConnect will prompt to allow use of your microphone and camera. Click allow on these prompts.
Now that you have successfully signed into Jive Web, there is also a desktop client named GoToConnect available for Windows PCs and Macs. While the browser version is always up-to-date, the desktop client is an alternative and can be installed without requiring administrative rights.
