Zoom - Scheduler Settings
With the increased security concerns related to Zoom we have implemented new recommended/required settings. If you are scheduling your meetings through the Zoom App or Website all settings are updated and taken care of for you. If you are using the Zoom scheduler app built into Google Calendar to schedule the meeting there are a few setting that need to be updated for the meetings to be successfully scheduled.
To change these settings, right click on the blue zoom scheduling icon in the top right corner of your Google Chrome browser.
Select Options
Your Zoom Schedule Options will need to be changed to match the below settings:
Meeting ID: One-Time Meeting ID
Password: Check "Require meeting password"
Select "Random password"
Options:
Check "Mute participants upon entry"
Check "Enable waiting room"
Check "Include join URL in location field"
Click "Save Changes"
If you are already in your calendar please refresh the page or close/reopen before scheduling any new meetings.
